Anticipation of Adobe CS3

I just recently downloaded a trial version of Illustrator CS2 and I have to admit I’m really impressed. I’ve been interested in the live trace tool and I have to say that it really lives up to the hype around it. It is so flexible and versatile that it runs circles around its predecessor Streamline while being built into the heavy hitter of all vector based programs. I’m still playing around in it, but I’m wondering if I’m going to fork over the bucks to make the upgrade? With the much anticipated CS release of their Universal binary suite for Macs with Intel one has to wonder whether they will pass on a Universal CS2 and go straight for a Universal CS3, which will hopefully drop GoLive and bundle instead Dreamweaver, a far superior WYSIWYG editor. Whatever happens their are two things I know for now: (1) CS2 is really great, and (2) I’m going to wait and see what happens in January before purchasing any new Adobe products.
